Vendor ecosystems are rapidly changing the shape of the software industry, especially on the Internet. These ecosystems go well beyond the marketing agreements that have appeared in the software industry for years. The reason behind this new brand of “alliance” is to improve the user experience while providing a much broader solution to the organization. For schools, it’s simple. A good ecosystem should connect the dots so you don’t have to. We have worked hard to align vendors with complementary functionality to accomplish this for our customers. We have developed a common language to discuss topics like single-sign-on and data integration, as well as reach across the aisle on privacy, security and guaranteed levels of service.

We’ve developed a growing network of partners and members, with Podium’s database at the center. Our open API allows data to move between Podium and these vendors' systems, eliminating the need to update separate databases and reducing the risk of errors.
